Jess Gondak is an undergraduate student studying Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh. Her interests in polymer science and sustainability prompted her to join the lab in Fall 2023, where she focuses on the modification and characterization of alginate-based bioplastics. Outside of the lab, Jess enjoys taking care of her houseplants, exploring restaurants around Pittsburgh, and volunteering with her environmental honors fraternity, Epsilon Eta Delta.
