Andrew Ashmar completed his Chemical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh in Spring 2023. He joined the Fullerton lab in Fall 2021 after completing three co-op rotations in the polymer industry. His work in the Fullerton lab focused on the development and characterization of alginate-based bioplastics in collaboration with Dr. Eric Beckman. Outside of the lab, you can usually find him exploring different Pittsburgh coffee shops or spoiling his two cats. Andrew is now a PhD student across the street at CMU!
